Silver and Mold

The more things change, the more things change.

Idle a Tree

I believe, at the most basic level, all a parentUsed in describing a heirarchical relationship between items.  Parent items contain other items (generally of the same type).  The items that they contain would be child items.  For instance, a menu would be the parent of its submenus. desires is for his or her childUsed to describe relationships in a hierarchy. A sub-menu would be the child of the menu of which it is a menu, for instance. The parent-child relationship may also be found in book pages and taxonomy terms.(ren) to be happy.

Therefore, God wants you to be happy.

Therefore, if you are not happy, you should do something else.

A Swing and a Miss

Well, that didn't work.  Back to the old drawing board...  I'm too wildly original or everyone smarter than me was sleeping on freenode yesternight.  It pains me to know exactly what I want and have a pretty good idea of how to pull it off, but not actually have the programmatic skills to see it through to the end.

*sigh*

A History Lesson

I worked with developmentally disabled adults, off and on, for shy of a decade.  During an orientation, the administrator said, "'It takes a real special person to do this job.'  Who here has heard that one before?"  Several of us raised our hands.  She went on to explain that the phrase has two meanings.  The first, obvious one is the surface meani

It's dark outside and I'm wearing sunglasses.

Radical Insanity!(tm)

So, here's the plan:

We establish the groundwork laying out Empire City, the nation that surrounds it, the world with which it is one, and so on...

We need to better define the Paradigm(s), work on unlocking the Multiverse, flesh out the Universe, introduce some key players, maybe, and start the comic.

Feeding the Need (a.k.a: Placating the Gnawing Darkness)

For all the love and light and charity and good will that might flow from the hearts of the just, deep inside there is a lurking thing struggling to be freed.

Yes, I have one. Yes it stinks.

Well, been lazy.

But it's time to get back to work!

So I may take a moment later today to post an entry that's actually interesting, but for now I just wanted to thank everyone who keeps on keepin' on with me.  You know who you are.

You guys are the tops.

Busy, Biz-E, Dizzy

Well...  Yeah.

So it looks like I might be working again, like gainfully employed, more than one day a week(!).  Been feeling the pinch for a while, so it's a nice change.  Looking forward to having something resembling a schedule again.

Just added a few new Images.  Nothing terribly special.  Noticed that a few of my scans are really obscene in size.  A 9.1M image?!  I don't know what I was thinking, but I probably had a very good reason for it at the time... like lack of sleep.

Lame Intonations

Naughty, naughty me.  I've been otherwised engaged, or something, and everything stagnates a bit.  I, for one, am pretty pleased with most of the recent changes around here.

Sorry I haven't been around more (he said to cobwebs and shadows).

Another Day, Another Lost

I wish I could say something about "another dollar" here, in a gainful sense, but I won't lie.  As rarely as I've been working lately, I am definitely becoming more accustomed to the roleRoles define how a user may utilize this website.  Roles are best defined as a set of permissions that allow groups of users specific liberties from creating content to administering site configuration (even up to creating new roles and users!).  A user may belong to more than one role at a time.  Generally speaking, a user's liberties reflect his or her "highest" role. of consumer.  I have about a three month streak of negative production going on here.
