About This Site

Wordsmiths, Worldsmiths & Ink was originally the brainchild of Mr.Hales and Stantasyland but has quickly grown beyond (and, strangely, beneath) their original conception.  Initially the pair simply wanted a place where they and their friends could express their creative potential.  Not really having much of a clue about things like CMSContent Management System.  A collection of tools for the creation, management, and organization of a data set (information including text, images and media files).  This website is an example of a CMS, for instance (Drupal).'s and databasen, they had little choice but to turn to the forgotten arts.

Unfortunately, the tome they used was destroyed during the ritual.  Had the grimoire been completely legible, things may have gone quite differently.  As it worked out, however, the binding half of the spell was incomplete and the Webmaster broke loose.  It has grown far beyond its summoners' original intents and seems bent upon world conquest.  Be that as it may, its efforts can still be directed.  With much effort (and promises of assistance) the Webmaster has agreed to focus its attention and efforts here and allow outsiders to watch it work.

By opening this site to the public long before it is "ready," the Webmaster invites the world to watch as changes are made to site structure, features, and layout in close to real time.  With the Webmaster's construct, Propaganda, acting as informant our users are made aware of the Webmaster's doings and so can arrange "front row seats" for themselves.

Founding Members

Mr.Hales:  Worldsmith and creator of several (now extinct) websites.  The primary force behind this site and the most direct (human) link to the awful Webmaster.  Of all members, he is most directly responsible for this site's structure, graphics, and direction.  While he may influence the inhuman monster that does all the work, he cannot fully control it.  Therefore, don't complain to him when it does something you don't like.

Stantasyland:  Wordsmith and co-founder.  Without his invaluable assistance, this website would simply not exist.  Probably one of this world's most generous individuals, he has given us almost everything short of his life to see this thing off the ground in the first place.  While "not a computerMost simply: a machine for performing calculations automatically.
