Users that log into the site on a regular basis will be rewarded in a variety of ways. Users that create content will be rewarded greatly more-so.
With the advent of the user points system, users reaching specific goals will be given more freedom and more power!
That's right! When a high-level user votes on anything, their vote will be worth more!
Why, you ask? We feel that rewarding users (and most especially contributors) who appreciate our hard work and dedication deserve more say in what direction this site moves in the future. Early adoptors have more opportunity to score points with the Webmaster and more chances to post more content and, there-by, reap even greater rewards! Those brave souls who set out on this journey with us have almost nothing to lose and, er, something to gain!
At the same time, however, users will also have the ability to lose points! Act like a jerk, stay away too long, or annoy the Webmaster and users may well find their points (and rank) decreasing. Why? We said we feel that "rewarding users" is good, right? Users' rewards will reflect their behavior, good and bad!
