The Announcements block on the front page features a listing of recent content, but you can't see your own there when you are logged in.  A user's own contributions are most easily found via that individual user's tracking page.

In addition, the site will not show content rated NSFW on any site listing by default.  Users may, of course, override this setting at their own discretion by simply applying the appropriate filters on the individual gallery pages.

Don't worry that you can't see your new content in the Announcements block featured on the site's front page; everybody else can (assuming the content in question is rated SFW).
