a.k.a. We Are Not Facebook

Going to be looking into a better way to handle profiles totally unlike all previous attempts.  The goal will be to make Contributor profiles totally customizable with Tourists retaining the current style.

"User relationships" is probably going the way of the dodo.  This is not surreally supposed to be a social network so much as the twisted offspring of a soapbox and an art show.  Expect friend lists/blocks/etc. to vanish in the future.

The ultimate Contributor profile would feature, at most, the standard header with the entire rest of the page totally up to the user in question, limited only by imagination and skill with xhtml/css, yet retain the option of using the "standard" profile as it currently exists.  Possibly even some combination of both.

It is currently unknown just how hard this will actually be.
